I was painting the Spitfire installation which was part of the Blackpool Illuminations. It was situated on the Gynn roundabout. I think it was a full size replica of the original. as I was halfway through painting, an aeroplane flew over above me. I think it was actually a Hurricane, as I was painting this on the D-Day Landings Anniversary.
