Lock 91 Rochdale canal. Someone asked why I was painting it; no particular reason…although I do remember my mate Norman Long painting this scene about 10 years ago, so that’s most likely why. Difficult sometimes choosing what to paint? I keep telling myself to paint something I’ve not done before in Manchester.
