The Boating Pool (16"x20") - £850
This is painted from the top prom area close to the Cabin pub and Genting club (castle casino). The old boating pool (now used as a go-kart track) is a great feature which also acts as the seawall. The lift tower to the left with Blackpool tower just visible, and north pier in the far distance. I painted this during the same few hours over a number of days. The light kept coming and going but I wanted to keep the shadow of the wall. Old victorian rusty fencing posts still here on the right - don't lean on them, there's a big drop down!
